Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Account information

We use Firebase Authentication (a Google service) to sign you in. When you create an account with your email address, we receive your email and the name you provide. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account identifier. We never see or store your password — it is handled securely by Firebase Authentication.

Study data

To save your progress and sync it across devices, we store:

• the exam category you choose, your target score, daily question goal, exam date and study preferences;
• the practice tests you take, including the questions shown, your answers, scores and time spent;
• questions you bookmark and your daily challenge results;
• whether you asked to be notified when Premium launches.

Technical information

Like most websites, our hosting provider processes basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and request logs to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose problems.

Usage analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location (country/city), device and browser type, how you arrived at the site, and in-app events such as starting or finishing a practice test (with the exam, test length and score). We do not send your name, email address or answers to Google Analytics.

2. How we use your information

• to create and secure your account and sign you in;
• to run practice tests, calculate scores, topic mastery, streaks and other progress stats;
• to sync your progress across your devices;
• to send account emails such as email confirmation and password resets;
• to measure how the site is used so we can improve it (Google Analytics);
• to respond to your support requests and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not show ads, and we do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

3. Where your data is stored

Sign-in is provided by Firebase Authentication (Google LLC). Your study data is stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare D1), which also hosts this website. Usage analytics are processed by Google Analytics (Google LLC). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where these providers operate.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage to make the app work: keeping you signed in (Firebase Authentication) and remembering small preferences.

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) to count visits and distinguish visitors. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are disabled and only cookieless measurement is used. We do not use advertising cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics on any site with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your account and study data for as long as your account is active. We keep your most recent 200 completed tests. You can reset your test progress from Settings → Reset test progress, and you can delete your account and all associated study data at any time from Settings → Delete account. You can also email psi-exams-prep-support@googlegroups.com and we will delete your data within 30 days.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Most of this you can do directly in the app; for anything else, contact us at psi-exams-prep-support@googlegroups.com and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and every request to your study data is verified against your signed-in account. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.

8. Children

PSI Exams Prep is intended for adults preparing for professional licensing exams. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
